BRITISH COUNCIL and OBSHTESTVO.NET appeal to young Bulgarians: ACT!
BRITISH COUNCIL and OBSHTESTVO.NET organise an essay contest for the following topic: „What would make me take an active part in the civil life of the country?”. British Council aims to encourage civil engagement of young people and to hear what is important for them. What is it that stops young people from taking an active civil position and can inactivity be a position? Is there a leadership crisis in Bulgaria and what is it due to? Can you win us over with your ideas?
You can participate if you are aged 18 to 35 and your text is no longer than 1500 words. The deadline is 30 October 2006 and the essays should be sent to obshtestvo@obshtestvo.net. Naturally, all effort deserves a prize. The prizes are as follows: 1st prize: English language course or Business skills training at British Council; 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th prizes: books, library membership and access to the online data bases of British Council Bulgaria. All prize winners will also get a CD with the electronic Policy-making resource and the best five essays will be published on www.obshtestvo.net and www.britishcouncil.org/bulgaria. Progress4smile in support to a progress cause
AVON Bulgaria has joined the AVON world initiative of fight against the breast cancer, which is running in more than 55 coutries around the world. In Bulgaria the idea is under the name of "When you love Life" (http://www.otlubov.com). The anti-breast cancer walk will take place on 3rd September and its main objective is to show the victims fighting this disease that they are not alone. The young Progress team supports this charity initiative and appeals to bulgarian youth to join in as well and show their compassion and support.

Progress4Smile on the progress wave again
After the full of smiles happening the organization is motivated and planning on releasing a new project in close co-operation with current and new partners. The launch of the project is expected until the end of the year whereas at the moment the team works on specifying its impact field.

A happening full of smiles:)
The organization "Progress 4 Smile" has come up with the initiative to organize a happening evening under the title of: "Imagine, sell your cleverness and purchase bewilderment!". On July 28th, at 7p.m. the progress team is going to bring together present and future colleagues, partners and friends to share with them smiles and ideas for further co-operation and development.

Progress4Smile Organization launched their new website!!!
Progress4Smile are happy to present to you their brand new website. We hired ElyDesign Studio to design and develop our website and we are very pleased with the result. The website involves a lot of animation graphics, multimedia and unique design ideas. We hope you enjoy it as well.
